Terms & conditions

1. Purpose

These terms and conditions of use define the rules for accessing and using the services, activities, resources, and content offered by CFA Nanaimo (hereinafter "the CFA").

2. Access to services

CFA services are intended for French-speaking individuals with valid status with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), including:

  • people with permanent resident status;
  • people with refugee status.

Individuals who do not meet these criteria may be referred to the Association des Francophones de Nanaimo.

3. Use of services

By using CFA services, users agree to:

  • provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information;
  • comply with applicable laws and regulations;
  • behave respectfully toward staff, volunteers, and other members of the community.

Any misuse, fraudulent use, or use contrary to CFA values may result in suspension or denial of access to services.

4. Content and resources

The information, guides, and documents provided by the CFA are for informational purposes only. The CFA makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of the information, without guaranteeing that it is always complete or up to date.

5. Liability

The CFA cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of its services, its website, or the information provided, within the limits provided for by law.

6. Changes

The CFA reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Modifications shall take effect upon publication.

7. Applicable law

These terms and conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada.
