Utilities to be provided

When you move in, you may need to open certain accounts in your name:

• Electricity: provided by BC Hydro.
• Internet and television: the main providers are Rogers/Shaw and Telus.
• Water and garbage: managed by the City of Nanaimo, often included in the rent; the city will provide you with a pamphlet detailing garbage collection days.
